One of our clients had just joined their company and needed an event to help him get acquainted with his new team. Wanting to make an impression he was looking for something original and fun for everyone to pitch in with but that would equally develop skill sets.
We suggested an Apprentice day: the group (split into two teams) met at the board room where our very own Sir Alan Sugar set them the task of making a TV advert for a simulated client. The teams had to create a theme, design a tagline and then act in their very own television advert. These videos were then presented to Sir Alan to use as evidence for his final decision.
The catch was that the videos were also presented to everyone over dinner… as well as Sir Alan’s final verdict!
The challenge, teamwork and suspense made the day a success and we have since worked on many events with this client.
